Hello, my name is Leticia N, and I have spent the last five years working as a home carer. I am a female with a passion for helping people lead independent lives. I am caring, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. I genuinely enjoy working in a role where I can make someone's day-to-day life easier and more enjoyable.
My motivation for caring started with my desire to make a positive impact on those in need. I've always been passionate about helping others. Therefore, being a home carer was a natural fit for me. Throughout my years of experience, I learned various skills, such as bathing, toileting, assistance with dressing, and catheter care. I am knowledgeable and experienced in caring for people with mild cognitive impairment, bedbound, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression.
When I'm not working, I enjoy staying active through walking, gardening, and socializing. I also love to cook and bake, and I find that board games are a great way to de-stress and connect with those around me. I have a friendly and supportive personality, which makes me a great companion for people who might feel lonely or isolated.
I am proud to say that I can drive and have my transport, which makes it easier for me to travel to clients' homes. Additionally, I am okay with pets, although fish are the only ones I have experience caring for.
